CVS shopping

I just got back from hitting up CVS and getting my free Sobe.  They had plenty of them so if you have not taken advantage of the BOGO sale with the BOGO coupons you need to start playing the game!  Here is the instand win game...Sobe Heads or Tails.  You can play daily and odds are you will win the coupons each day too.  Make sure after you print the first coupon that you hit the back button a few times so it will print a second one for you.

I also got some good coupons from the magic coupon machine.  Have I told you how much I love that thing?  I know it is a crap shoot and you never know what you might get but that is the best part.  Some days nothing of interest and other days...well like today...you get some great stuff!  I scored a free $2 ECB (hey you wanna give me money I will take it!) and I got a $0.50 off 2 Dove candy bars, a $1 off 2 Caliber brand school supplies.  I also got a "today only" $1 off Charmin and a "today only" $1 off Duracell batteries.  If you plan on doing the spend $25 get free Bounty towels sale at CVS those two store coupons would help!

Happy CVSing!

Sales are so boring right now.  Here are a couple of the CVS deals that are kinda good.  Nothing to write home about, but you can see that the back to school sales are starting.  If you are looking for a new binder for coupons or need them for the kiddos you might want to head to CVS and look.  I love my binder, I just wish it was "cute".  Maybe this weekend it is time to use my craft supplies on it. Free John Frieda at CVS

I was surfing around on the web today, looking for coupons and trying to finish a couple more coupon matchups done tonight.  LOL I got sidetracked on facebook and did not get the matchups done.  I did find this however and wanted to share.

Complete a hair profile on the John Frieda website and you’ll get a coupon for $2.50 off any John Frieda hair care product. Make sure you hit the back button a couple of times and print it a second time.

Head over to CVS and score two free after ECBs.  I have some ECB's I need to roll so this is pretty good for me.  Here is the scenario:

Buy 2 John Frieda Products, 2/$10
Earn $5 ECBs wyb 2 (Limit 1 deal)
Use (2) $2.50/1 coupons
Out of pocket is $5, get back $5 ECBs

Final net price = Free!

CVS and Huggies

Ok so it seems that everyone around me is either pregnant or just had a baby...it has my biological clock pounding away but that is another story...so since I know so many peeps needing diapers here is a deal worth sharing.  It is a little far out, but should give you plenty of time to look for a higher dollar coupon to make the deal sweeter....

The week of June 20 there will be a good deal on the Huggies big box diapers at CVS. You will want to go ahead and print the $3 Huggies coupon here and save it for the sale. (don't wait because it can run out of prints and then you miss out!)

Buy 1 Big Box = $19.99
Use $3/1 coupon
Get $10 ECBs
Final Cost: $6.99 after coupon and ECBs

Folks are reporting getting a Huggies coupon at the scanner which would make this deal even better. Let me know if you get one!

Sunday Shopping

How did your Sunday shopping go?  Mine was not bad but not super exciting either.  We went to CVS which was a treat since it is not all that close to home and I tend to have ECB's close to expiration by the time I get there again.  So here is what I did

2 Gillette Body Washes $4 each get back $4 in ECB's limit 2
Used B1G1 Gillette Body Wash 5/2/2010 P&G Insert (exp 5/31/2010)
$4 money maker!!

Hellman's Mayo $2.99 (these were the 30 oz jars) spend $10 and get back $3 in ECB's
bought 4 for a total of $11.96
used 4 $0.75/1 coupons
total $8.96   Ok so I will not need mayo for a very long time and this was not the best deal I have seen, but it was good enough for me to act on AND several of my ECB's were money makers so I feel good about my score!

Fig Newtons small box on sale for $0.98
used $1 any Fig Newton (facebook printable, bot sure if it is still available)

2 bags of M&M's for $0.48 each (I only got these because once I used all my ECB's I was going to be giving CVS $0.53 and I am not a fan of doing that and as I walked into the store the hubbie said "I hope you can score more cheap M&M's" and I thought it was funny to take him the small bags.)

I used $13.49 in ECB's and had an out of pocket of $0.43 and my taxes.  Then I got back $11 in ECB's for my next visit!
